DESIRE Society encourages volunteers to contribute their time, expertise and skills to uplift the lives of children caring by the organization. We consider the requests from the people those who are committed and willing to render services with selflessness. The following are the few volunteer opportunities at present.1.Teach English Language2.Train on Communication Skills and Personality Development3.Train on basic Computer Skills4.Counseling for Adolescent Girls and Boys5.Story Telling (Moral/Inspirational Stories etc)6.Training on Yoga and Meditation.7.Organize Fun based Recreational Activities8.Volunteer for social events such as World AIDS Day, Children’s Day and Summer Camp etc.Short term Opportunities:Weekly - Minimum of 3 hours a day for 7 days.Monthly - Minimum of 2 hours a day for at least 5 days in a week.Quarterly - Minimum of 2 hours a day for at least 3 days in a week.Long term Opportunities:6 Months - Minimum of 3 hours a day for at least 2 days in a week.1 Year - Minimum of 2 hours a day for at least 2 days in a week.How to apply:Individuals: Individuals can write to us with a strong determination along with educational qualifications, expertise, available durations with timings. Once we recive your request we shall match to our existing requirements to process further. period of serving our children. Corporate Groups: We request you to write from company end to take up group activities by the volunteers who represent from business entities. We encourage your new ideas and concepts of recreational or well-being which can be helpful to our children through volunteer programs.Student Groups/ Individuals: You are advised to bring this proposal through your college officials. Your college/institution has to write to us officially requesting this proposal.Others:Foreigners, NRIs and non-locals also can write to us about volunteer opportunities. However DESIRE Society can not facilitate for your visa, travel,accommodation and stipend etc.Please note that volunteer opportunities are available for only those who are strongly committed with a passion of social change and they are certified by the organization once completed successfully.
